Antiochian Women
Antiochian Women President: Kh. Pam Pier - Email
The women of St. John Chrysostom Church organized from the earliest of days when St. John Chrysostom was just a mission worshiping in the basement of a local Methodist church. In those early days several women were just standing together after the Divine Liturgy one morning and determined that we had to organize things!!… after all someone needed to organize the Coffee Hour food!
In the time since those very early days, the women of St. John Chrysostom still provide and organize the food, but also participate in all aspects of parish life, by way of their worship, their service, and their fellowship. Every woman of St John Chrysostom Church is a member of the Antiochian Orthodox Women, or AOW. This sisterhood recognizes St. Olympia, the fourth century deaconess and contemporary of St. John Chrysostom in Constantinople, as their Patron Saint.
Our present leadership team is: President: Kh. Pam Pier, Vice President: Leslie Atherholt, Secretary: Heather Bender, Treasurer: Marjorie Barrett.
