It's fall time, and youth month!

The last Sunday of the month, October 29, is our annual Saints' Festival. It works like this;

As in years' past, Joy Club aged students (preschool- grade 5) will dress up as a saint of their choice and prepare a fact (1- 3 sentences) to share with the congregation. Please rehearse this with your child and practice voice projection, enunciation, and not speaking too fast. Please be aware to limit the information to be shared, as it really adds up across all participants and can become a long presentation very quickly.

As per usual, after communion has ended students should don their costumes in the SCS wing (please bring one). They should then wait there until everyone is ready. Please advise your children to be very quiet in this process as church will still be ongoing at that point in time.

Parents, please help your children get their costumes on, and help escort the group to the front if needed.

If your child wants to dress up and come up with us as a group, but doesn't want to talk, you can give them a piece of paper with their saint name on it, and it will be announced.

The high school students will be exercising their leadership skills and will be giving the lesson to grades 2-5 in the new wing at the end of the hall during the SCS hour. If you have students in any of those grades, please send them to that room on the 29th.

Pizza and Gimme Shop is a special snack this day. Dismissal this day will be 1pm.
